Koolearth joined Boracay European International School during the Earth Week Celebration last April 7-8, 2011 in Manoc-Manoc, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, Philippines.With volunteers Ms. Cai Domingo, representing AMSA, Manila, Seminarian Justy More of the Diocese of Kalibo, KE VP Felma Dela Cruz (MD), KE Sec Megs Lunn and KE Pres. Chita Heap, they all had a good time with smart kids of the BEIS, Boracay. In a way, they would like to thank DENR Boracay for donating 40 seedlings for the tree planting, too.
It was a whole two days learning opportunity with Dr. Felma De la Cruz who spoke about Global Warming as part of the activity/health forum during the celebration. Clean Up Drive followed and the next day was the very exciting and interesting tree planting.
