KEAT ON THE MOVE

Kalibo Environment Action Team ( KEAT) Council of LGU Kalibo meeting last July 22, 2015. Watch out for the implementation and enforcement of the Solid Waste Management system in the capital Kalibo Ati-atihan Town . All committees were given the chance to report on updates, in-progress projects and other updates from LGU Kalibo on the development of SWM in town.
To Kalibonhon, inyo man ra, mag-ugyon kamo tanan para sa ikamayad it banwa ag aton nga probinsya. 
We, volunteers are working in partnership with your leaders, so do your part before you complain. "Charity begins at home," ika nga. So, we also expect the people in the capital town to cooperate and be patient. Begin SWM at home and everything outside will be in order. 
We are praying that LGU Kalibo will get serious this time. KE is watching.

Ms. Megs Lunn, KE Secretary, presided the meeting on behalf of the
 Committee on Education  - Dr. Cynthia Dela Cruz



Mr. Greg Martinez of KACLA reported on behalf of the
Transportation Committee on the strict implementation of
Ticket Citation on violaters of the different Municipal
Traffic Ordinance in the capital town.

Mr. Terence Toriano reported on behalf of the
Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council committee. (Awareness on
the alert sytem, earthquake drill, training on urban search and rescue,
acquisition of more equipments, etc.)

SKBK reports on Environment Protection and
Conservation committee update (Sanitary Landfill, etc)



 PNP Kalibo Station - OIC Chief Asmod reports on
Enforcement Committee update on the recorded apprehended violators on
Colorum, Mufflers and non-observance of municipal traffic ordinances.
