In line with the implementation of the National Greening Program of the government under Executive Order No. 26 of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III which aims to plant 1.5 billion seedlings until 2016, the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Aklan Chapter in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) will conduct "Oplan Broadcastreeing 2015" on August 15, 2015.
The DENR Aklan headed by PENRO Officer Mr. Ivene D. Reyes has identified Barangay Jawili, Tangalan to be the site of this year's Oplan Broadcastreeing 2015.
